For the last couple of months I have been all consumed with my entries into the annual Winchelsea Art & Photography Exhibition. When I brought my submissions to the entry desk I glanced around at my competition and realised what I was up against. There were some stunning entries by local artists. So imagine my surprise when I wandered in after judging and discovered that I had taken out first prize in the Black & White category. My first blue ribbon! Here is the winning entry, entitled "Contemplation", featuring my gorgeous 8 year old, Cate. Many thanks to my wife, Kerrie, for suggesting the final crop.
